Audit process

How a cost compliance engagement unfolds

A practical map for sponsors who need to brief their CFO before fieldwork begins.

This page covers the rhythm of our flagship Infrastructure Cost Compliance Audit. Narrower investigations compress the same stages.

1. Scoping call

We confirm vendors, the sample period, cost centres in play, and whether subsidiaries keep separate ledgers. You leave with a draft sample plan and a fee range.

2. Document intake

Invoices, rate schedules, allocation matrices, cost governance policy, and exception approvals land in a shared folder. Incomplete packs pause the calendar until critical files arrive.

3. Field review

Auditors test charges against contracts and policy, build the exception register, and hold interim check-ins with finance and infrastructure contacts. On-site days in Taichung or Taipei are scheduled when ledgers need walkthroughs.

4. Draft findings

Management reviews draft variance tables and severity ratings before anything is final. Factual corrections are welcome; scope expansion is quoted separately.

5. Final pack & briefing

You receive the signed findings pack, remediation roadmap, and a closing briefing with named owners. Recovery negotiations with vendors remain your decision.
