Refund and cancellation policy

Scope
This policy covers professional engagement fees for infrastructure cost compliance audits, anomaly investigations, chargeback reviews, and vendor contract attestations sold by AutoInfraSys. It does not cover third-party vendor charges, software licences, or goods we do not sell.
Eligibility
Refunds depend on how far the engagement has progressed and what the signed engagement letter states. Where the letter and this page differ, the letter controls.
Deposits
Flagship audits typically require a 40% deposit to reserve the fieldwork window. Deposits are refundable in full if we cancel before fieldwork for reasons within our control. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within ten business days of the agreed fieldwork start, except where Taiwanese mandatory law requires otherwise.
Full refund
You may receive a full refund of amounts paid if we have not begun document intake or fieldwork and you cancel in writing more than ten business days before the scheduled start, or if we are unable to staff the engagement and no alternative date is acceptable.
Partial refund
If work has started—document intake, sampling, or draft findings—fees for completed stages remain payable. Unused prepaid amounts for stages not begun may be refunded after deducting documented preparation time already performed.
Non-refundable items
- Completed fieldwork days already delivered
- Final findings packs already issued
- Third-party travel booked at your written request after approval
Cancellation and rescheduling
Write to hello@autoinfrasys.digital to cancel or reschedule. One reschedule of the fieldwork window at no fee is usually allowed if requested at least ten business days ahead. Later reschedules may incur a scheduling fee stated in the engagement letter.
No-shows
If sponsor-side participants fail to attend agreed on-site or remote walkthroughs without notice, that session may be billed as delivered and a new session scheduled at additional cost.
Work already started
Draft findings and working papers prepared before cancellation remain our intellectual property. You do not receive unfinished drafts unless the engagement letter says otherwise and outstanding fees are settled.
Refund process and timing
Email refund requests to hello@autoinfrasys.digital with your engagement reference. We confirm eligibility within ten business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within fourteen business days of approval.
